2003-01-10 - 4:03 p.m. The COPS marathon last night was all right, but it had too many car chases. My favorite COPS segments (always three to an episode, no more, no fewer) have always been of the "wild incomprehensible arguments between the cop and seven neighborhood folk" variety. And there has to be a scene with a crackpipe being ditched. Luckily I was up for the 1:30am standard showing, and it was a classic. Oh yeah, the Post and the Daily News have the same headline today: "Analyze This." Something about a Long Island psychiatrist who either killed or wanted to kill one of his patients, who had of course (of course) become his paramour. Apparently another one of his patients hooked him up with the guns. Anyway, I didn't read past the front cover of either tabloid. I'm just so happy on days when the front page editors of the respective rags both come up with the same damn headline. It's gonna be a busy weekend, I just know it. Ugh. Better than work, though. previous next
