I've written more this past week than I did probably all of last year, at least from a non-diary, non-work perspective. Not bad. The plan is to continue that, putting at least a couple hours in on Sunday afternoons and then whenever I can find time during the week. Since we last spoke (17 days, a travesty true and thus), I got that damn cell phone stolen but I talked to enough people over at T-Mobile so that I got the same model free of charge after about a week. All I had to pay for was a new SIM card, and they even threw in a $20 credit toward that. Gotta love the Zeta-Jones plan. The trick, of course, is to keep calling until they tell you something you like. And write down the person's ID number.

How did that phone get stolen? Well, me and Joe C. and Jim C. were off to Detroit Metro to pick up Ted. We got him after showing up early and looping the terminal about 10 times, and then headed to Foran's on Woodward (between Larned and Congress for those keeping score) to stop in for a quick drink and see Colin DJ. Twenty minutes later we're out on the street picking through broken glass. As many people have told me, it's not a good idea to leave your cell phone in the car. Thanks, everyone.
