I was thinking of doing a month-long series of parodies of all the diaries on my buddy list (sans maybe one or two). While this would prove to be immensely funny to me, it might be taken the wrong way by parody victims. But fuck them, right? Anyway. Might still do it. I gotta bone up on my typo permutations for a spell if I want to ape the great Joegood.

Last week was rough because I was studying for the LSAT and getting in trouble at work. Not big trouble, but one of my most ridiculous goofs just came to light with the delivery of this month's issue and I'm paying the price for it now. Other people are, too. Guilt is much.

The LSAT went OK, thanks for asking. Definitely didn't go quite as planned. I completely tanked on the first section (riddles, puzzles, and lawyer jokes) but give the kid credit for bouncing back and rock-rockin' the rest of the test. Let's hope for the best.

The real story at that test, though, was its administration. Ghetto as hell. Let's just say that everyone taking the test was there before everyone administering the test, and that no one's cell phone went off during testation (thank God) except, EXCEPT, the main proctor's. I ain't never lie.

This week seems better. There's more fun stuff going on, less obligatory crap. Made some copies of the album of which I spoke last time around, which Nami used her considerable industry sway to snag. (Those are on their way, fellas.) Also, since the LSAT on Saturday I've watched The Texas Chain Saw Massacre trois fois. Tonite it looks like Adaptation. Tomorrow, tutoring then laundry: a much needed break from the cinema. Thursday, Lord of the Dorks Part Deux with the prime minister of New Zealand in attendance (I ain't NEVER lie). Friday, record label party (thanks again, Nami). Saturday, Green St. Greenpoint party.

Someday I'll start shopping for Christmas trinkets, too.
