Are bananas good for you? Because I've decided to eat one every day.

Entering the werkebilding this morning I strolled into an open elevator to see two same-aged "co-workers" (in that we work on the same floor), Ross and Betsy. It took all my better judgment not to nod at each officiously and mutter, "Betsy. Ross."

Ross just started a week or so ago and the first time I saw him, he looked really familiar. Then at the potluck last week we figured out we were in a class together in college. Second semester of senior year, fifteen-person roster: yeah, I should have remembered him better. What's happening to my steel trap?

I think the nail bed on my left thumb is infected. Gross, right? Well, it doesn't look any different. But it feels the same way my right big toe felt when its nail bed got infected and the doctor told me so. Fingers, toes, same diff. The upshot is that it hurts when I hit the space bar, and I've learned that I'm incapable of tapping it with my right thumb.

Worse things could happen, I'm sure.
