2002-03-21 - 10:59 a.m. So I finally tracked down everyone I needed for the glorious 100-word blurb I wrote about the White Stripes' new (in the US of A) music video. Turns out the director's father wrote a computer program (specifically for this project) that would pixelate a DV frame to the point that Legos would fit nicely into the space for each bit. So they used reference footage, worked out a Lego model via software, and built everything by hand. You know, this job ain't half-bad. Right now I'm sitting on a conference call as I type. I showed up late today (9:35 or 9:40) for no real reason except that I wanted to get some brex before work. And there won't be any repercussions over that. Besides, I figure I'm not meeting Nami for milkshakes until 9:30, and I'll have to stick around the office kinda late today anyway. OK, I gotta get back to work. Random thoughts. previous next
